For quite some time, Joe and I have given ourselves an allowance of $25 per week, on Fridays, to spend as we wish. I generally use mine for quick meals out when running errands and for my yarn stash. As part of my financial commitment to my Year of Domesticity, I intend to save as much of my allowance as possible. At a minimum, I hope to put away $10 each week. If I can do that, I will be able to add $500 to our Christmas budget next year, easing some of that financial burden. I will track that progress on this page.
